Our strength-based programmes use trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness and positive psychology to empower youth to better navigate challenges, step into their potential and positively contribute to their communities and the world.
We bring these transformative practices into a various settings and love training educators, counsellors, social workers, health professionals and youth leaders. Our programmes serve to enhance your own wellbeing and resilience, and empower you to share these tools with youth you serve on a daily basis, one breath at a time.

Project wayfinder programmes
Wayfinder is a culturally responsive, mental health + SEL programme for teens and young adults. Designed at Stanford University’s d.school. It serves to develop self awareness, foster belonging and equip youth with skills to connect with their values, build upon their strengths and live with purpose every day. Designed to be actionable, it helps promote wellbeing in youth in line with the Hauora model of “Te Whare Tapa Whā” and gives them the agency to step into lives that meaningfully contribute to their communities and world.
We also run this in schools with select groups as day workshops or weekly, 10 week (term long) programme (in person/ online) so please reach out to us to learn more.

The ‘Mia Effect’
Greenlight Foundation is inspired by our love for our daughter Mia who passed from cancer aged just 2 1/2 years, in April 2013.
She taught us to live each and every day with love and compassion, to appreciate the good in life (no matter the circumstances) and to live authentically with meaning and purpose. We like to call this ‘The Mia Effect’.
We are committed to guiding others to connect with their true self and purposefully navigate their own unique path to meaningful contribute to the world we live in.
In doing so, we hope to cultivate a world with greater love, peacefulness, compassion and joy.
